Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy Approach at Healthy Bodies
Hydrotherapy at Healthy Bodies uses water-based exercise to support rehabilitation, pain management, and improved movement. Performed in a heated pool, hydrotherapy provides a safe and supportive environment that reduces joint load while allowing effective strengthening, mobility, and cardiovascular exercise.
Our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists use hydrotherapy to help people of all ages move with greater confidence, particularly when land-based exercise is difficult or painful.
We work out of multiple locations including the state of the art GESAC and Danny Frawley Centres.
Our Hydrotherapy Services
01
Rehabilitation and Injury Recovery
Hydrotherapy is highly effective for rehabilitation following injury, surgery, or periods of reduced mobility. The buoyancy of water reduces stress on joints and muscles, allowing earlier and safer movement during recovery.
02
Pain Management
Warm water combined with guided exercise can help reduce pain, muscle tension, and stiffness. Hydrotherapy is commonly used for people managing chronic pain, arthritis, or conditions that limit tolerance to traditional exercise.
03
Mobility, Strength, and Balance
Water resistance provides a safe way to build strength, improve balance, and increase range of movement. Hydrotherapy programs are tailored to your ability level and progresses as your confidence and capacity improve.
Why Choose Healthy Bodies?
